Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to run the community. We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. Everything you share stays within the Church Service Production platform.

1. Who We Are

Church Service Production ("we," "our," or "us") is a community platform for church production teams — audio, video, lighting, and streaming volunteers and leaders. The app is operated by Vital Integrators, LLC, Lafayette, LA. Contact us at paul@vitalintegrators.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Account info — name, email address, profile photo
Church info — church name, size, your role (e.g. Production Director, A1)
Community content — chat messages, marketplace listings, prayer requests, gear inventory, job postings, mentor profiles, knowledge base articles, and resources you submit
Social links — optional Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn handles you add to your profile
Device info — push notification token (if you enable notifications)

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

IP address and general location (country/region) for security purposes
App version and device type for debugging

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve the platform
To display your profile to other community members
To send you notifications you've opted into (chat mentions, prayer requests, etc.)
To moderate content and enforce community guidelines
To respond to support requests

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside the platform except as described below.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate the app:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage) — your data is stored in Firebase. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In / Facebook Login — used for account creation only. We receive your name and email; we do not receive passwords.
Netlify — hosts the web version of the app. See Netlify Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Community content (messages, listings, etc.) may remain visible after account deletion to preserve community continuity, except where you request specific removal. Contact us to delete your account and associated data.

6. Your Rights

You can:

Edit or delete your profile at any time from within the app
Request a copy of your data by emailing us
Request deletion of your account and data by emailing us
Opt out of push notifications in your device settings at any time

7. Children's Privacy

Church Service Production is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules that restrict data access to authorized users, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
